Downloads

We do not keep any downloads here other than files we ourselves are responsible for. There are simply too many out there (a good thing!). See our links page for references to excellent download sites.

Our Files

If you use Windows, Right-Click.
If you use a Macintosh, Click-n-Hold.

  • Series 5 Keyboard Shortcuts help file (coming soon)
  • "English Pubs in Toronto" list in Psion Word document
  • Jingle Bells sound
  • X-Files theme, compressed, 56kb; uncompressed 62kb; first 7 seconds only. You gotta be crazy to load this...

Our Favourite Add-ins

We love freeware and shareware. There are many excellent applications that extend the Psion. We've used many over the years.

Again, rather than keep the files here, we refer you to the developer or the distributor's web site where you can download the most recent version.

Remember also to read detailed reviews at Litchfield's 3-Lib site (see links).

  • Compactor: Compresses Data and Agenda files on the Series 5.
  • Procyon: An astronomy program. Awesome software. Used the 3x and 5x versions. Much better than a laptop when actually at the telescope!
  • Stopwatch: Very handy when timing race cars (which we do!).
  • Mille Bornes: A 3x or 5x game based on an old classic French card game. You pretend you're in legs of a 1000-mile car race. You try to get miles between you and your opponent while avoid their attempts to thwart your progress.
  • FreeCell: A solitaire card game.
  • Psion Email: What can I say? A great implement of POP3 mail for the Series 5.
  • Psion Web: A very good web browser. Great for peeking at web sites while travelling. Make sure you're using the latest 2.x version.
