links to magazine sites

SkyNews http://skynewsmagazine.com
SkyNews, the Canadian Magazine of Astronomy and Stargazing, is published six times a year. Edited by Terence Dickinson. The web site includes a (text) listing of interesting upcoming celestial events, which planets are up now, and reviews of books.

SkyTonight.com http://SkyTonight.com
The recently "rebadged" site from Sky & Telescope magazine (from USA). Contains the useful "this week" page as well as calculators for finding Jupiter's and Saturn's moons and examining the face of Mars. Lots of good "how to" information for beginners as well. There are also a number of articles on DIY observatories.

Astronomy http://astronomy.com
Another US magazine web site with a number of good online resources. They have put a number of informative articles online. While a text listing of upcoming events is accessible, their "sky dome" image is restricted access.

Astronomy Now http://astronomynow.com
The United Kingdom's best-selling astronomy magazine, started up by Patrick Moore.

Astronomy Techology Today http://AstronomyTechnologyToday.com/
A very good guide to astro-equipment. On-line and print (low-grade) versions available. Relatively inexpensive annual fee which gives access to all backissues. Sample articles on-line.
